Cathy Kahn, a co-founder of Robert D. Kahn & Company, is an accomplished project manager and editor. Ms. Kahn began her career working for the Philadelphia Board of Education researching dual audio televison programming. She worked on special projects for the National Recreation & Parks Association in Washington DC, where she conceived the educational board game ENERGETICS, later distributed by Soft-Aware Associates.
Ms. Kahn's responsibilities at Robert D. Kahn & Company include project management and research for the agency. She has taken scores of projects to successful completion. For example, she recently led the focus group, survey and evaluation reports for the City of Woodland Public Works Department. She managed planning and outreach for "Blue Cascades," a infrastructure security simulation hosted by the Pacific Northwest Economic Region. Ms. Kahn coordinated the research program for MSR Solutions LLC, marketers of a prioprietary environmental abatement technology for the cement industry. In addition, Ms. Kahn led the community education program for Calgene's groundbreaking bioengineering field trials.
A resident of Mercer Island, Washington, Ms. Kahn holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts. She co-founded the Rivendell Nursery School and served on the Parks and Recreation Commission in Davis, California. She served as a board member of the Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle for five years.
